Margarita Sustaita, age 95, of Austin, dedicated wife and loving mother, passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2004. Her parents, Jose and Elvira Torres; her husband, Tomas Sustaita; and her son, Luis Sustaita preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughters, Mary Dalton, Elvira Hatherly and husband Walton and Evelyn Garza and husband Guadalupe; sons, Salvador Sustaita and wife Elizabeth, Tomas Sustaita Jr. and wife Terry, Jose Angel Sustaita and Samuel Sustaita; 15 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Saturday, at Wilke-Clay-Fish Funeral Home. A Wake will be held at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, at the funeral home. Funeral Services will begin at 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 26, 2004, at St. John’s/San Juan Lutheran Church, with Pastors Tim Anderson and Faye Schott officiating. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sam Sustaita to help pay for a monument.
