Charles W. Hogue, age 73, of Austin passed away on Tuesday, April 11, 2006. Mr. Hogue was born September 28, 1932 in Chandler, Texas. He served in the U.S. Navy. Mr. Hogue graduated from Baylor University in 1957 and went to work for Price Waterhouse where he became a partner in 1970. He was a member of Riverbend Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Clara Hogue; sister, Maxie Wilson and brothers, Marvin Randal Hogue and Burton Dean Hogue. Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Barbara Baird Hogue; his children, Sharon Hogue, David Hogue, and Brett Hogue; grandchildren, Kyle, Jessica and Joshua Hogue; his sisters, Barbara Jean Farmer, Mickie Hunter and Glenda Brown; and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 15th in the Smith Chapel at Riverbend Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Don Shula Foundation, Inc. (for Cancer Research), 1700 NW 167th St. #3, Miami, FL 33169. The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Laurence Tokaz and the staff of South Austin Cancer Center as well as the staff of Hospice Austin. Obituary and guestbook online at wcfish.com
