Billye Frances Austin died Saturday, June 2, 2012 after a long illness. She was born December 8, 1940 in Alexandria Louisiana to William and Frances Hustmyer Billye was tirelessly cared for by her loving husband of 41 years since her stroke in 1997. The love we all witnessed in Bobs' care for Billye all these years was inspirational. Billye began her career at the Texas Rehabilitation Commission in 1977 and retired due to medical conditions in 1997. Billye's passion for helping others was evident in all of her dealings with clients in the disability determination division.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Frances Hustmyer; and daughter, Jennifer Marie Austin.
Billye is survived by her husband of 41 years, Robert F. Austin; beloved sisters, Connie May Bordelon her husband Gerald, Diana Marie Hustmyer; her son, Duane Ronald See; daughter, Sheri Taylor and husband Kelly; granddaughter; three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 South Congress, with Funeral Service to follow at 3:00 pm. Graveside Service 9:00 am on Thursday, June 7, 2012 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio, Texas.
