Vince served as one of the pioneering team members that helped propel the cellular communications industry in Houston as well as several other cities nation-wide. Vince remained proud of both the relationships he made and accomplishments the team achieved during his career. Vince and Karon divorced in 1990 and remained friends until her death in 2013.

Vince and Pip cherished their families Vince was always in front of the grill all the while enjoying a Shiner or two during the family gatherings.

Vince, ever the story teller and practical joker, never had a story that he couldn't make even better the next time he told it, enjoyed sitting around a table outside his home with friends and family, telling stories, picking on the grandkids, and drinking Shiner late into the night. He had an incredible love for life and also enjoyed going to country bars dancing and drinking "Boo" (AKA Beer), playing golf, watching baseball, and attending University of Texas Football games with Max wearing both UT clothes along with competing university colors; including University of Tulsa (Trevor's School), Oklahoma State, (Ashley's School), and Texas A&M, Vince's forbidden favorite.

Vince will be forever missed but his family and friends will always have the memories to cherish and are thankful for the time they were able to spend with him. God's speed dad – we love you!
