Obituary

Thomas Larue Cloud was born on March 23, 1948 to Alma Lee Larkins Mosley and Johnny Moses Evans in Sealy, Texas and was called home on September 23, 2017.

Thomas accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and savior and lived a life that was devoted to Him. He proudly attended Crossroads Christian House of Prayer in Austin, Texas.

Thomas began working at a very young age and continued to work hard and efficiently there unto. Thomas attended Austin County Colored School and soon after graduating from Sealy High School in May 0f 1967 he enlisted in the United States Air Force. Tech Sergeant (Ret.) Cloud served in the Air Force from March 20, 1968 until March 31st 1988 and enjoyed the opportunity to serve while traveling the world. His strong will, independence, persistence and pride in his career led him to pass on a tradition of hard work and selfless service to his younger brothers, niece and nephew, younger cousins, son and grandson, as well as a host of other friends from his hometown. After his retirement from the armed forces. Thomas started his own cleaning company (Cloud Janitorial Cleaning and Supply) and then furthered his education by pursuing HVAC. Soon after, he was employed at Del Valle Independent School District.

Thomas loved his family and friends dearly and took every chance he could to be with them. Tissie loved to bar-b-que and cook for his family and friends using his grandmother's recipes.

Thomas is preceded in death by his wife, Kimberly Cloud; mother, Ama Lee Larkins (Mosley); father, Johnny Moses Evans; his grandmothers; and sister, Jo Ann Larkins.

He leaves to cherish his memories three children, two daughters and one son (Thomasina Leree Cloud, Monique Cloud-Jeremy P. Hadnot, and Robert Patrick Cisneros-Cloud), four grandsons (Harold Eugene Reed, Joe Thomas Ochoa, Robert Kendrick and Jonathan Preston Hadnot), one great-granddaughter (Xochitl Josephine Ochoa).

Funeral Service 2:00 pm on Friday, September 29, 2017 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home Chapel, 2620 South Congress.

Inurnment 11:30 am on Friday, October 6, 2017 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio, Texas.
