Obituary

Robert Thomas Natoli (Grandpa) passed away on Wednesday, June 28, 2017.

A rosary will be held at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home South Location, 2620 South Congress Ave. Austin, Texas on Friday, July 14 at 7:00 p.m. A memorial mass will be held on Saturday at St. Paul Catholic Church, 10000 David Moore Dr. Austin, Texas ,Saturday July 15at 10:00 a.m.

Born April 3, 1934, in Jersey City N. J., Bob met his future wife Margaret (his "sunshine") in Lake Parsippany N.J. where Bob was a lifeguard.. They married Nov. 14, 1954. They had four sons and were happily married for 60 years.

Bob was first in his class at St. Paul of the Cross, attended St. Peters Prep High School and St. Peters College. He served the U. S. Army, 1st lieutenant company commander and platoon leader, heavy machine gun, 3rd division.

Bob was an accountant for Cooper Brothers & Co., Suburban Propane Gas and was the Morris County N.J. Treasurer for 22 years. He obtained the first AAA bond rating in N.J. and the 9th in the nation for Morris County.

After retirement, he and Marge moved to California, New Jersey and Texas to be with their Grandchildren.

Bob was the Exalted Ruler of the Parsippany Elks BPOE 2078; a charter member of the Knights of Columbus Council 12394, Cameron Park, CA; officer of The Knights of Columbus Council 10209 Austin, Texas; President of the N.J. County of Finance Officers Association and a member of the Golden Hearts at St. Paul Catholic Church.

He enjoyed bowling, golf, trips with his family and friends and playing cards with Marge, friends, the boys and grandchildren.

He was always home at 5:30 to have dinner with the family. He always made time to play catch with the boys and attend their ballgames. He took the boys to bat day at Yankee stadium every year. He was the scorekeeper for his grandson's baseball team. His grandchildren and their friends would visit after school to play cards and have snacks.

He is preceded in death by wife, Margaret; his parents, Anthony and Anita; and his brother, Joseph. Bob is survived by siblings, Eugene and Jayne Natoli, Ron and Marie Natoli, and Anita Natoli-Polhemus ; children, Robert and Judy Natoli, Tom and Kathy Natoli, Al and Keri Natoli, Ken Natoli and Dawne Witwer; grandchildren, Rob and Kellie Natoli, Matt and Lauren Natoli, Katie and Dan Salivar, Missy Natoli, Emmie and Adam Balsiger, Angelina Natoli, Adriana Natoli; and great- grandchild, Averie Mae Natoli.

Bob was a proud American who led by example and represented well his country, church and family.
