Nora Marie Wagner, 86, of Bee Cave, Texas died Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at Silverado Memory Care.
She was born in New York City on September 7, 1930 to Martin and Annie Dolan. She grew up in Dromahair, County Leitrim, Ireland and returned to New York where she was a nurse who worked with Alzheimer's patients. She moved to Bee Cave, Texas in 2011.
She was married to the late Joseph Wagner, on August 2, 1958. She is survived by 4 children: Joseph (57) of Bee Cave, Texas, John (55) of Seminole, Florida, Matthew (54) of Milford, Pennsylvania and Anne Merton (49) of Edgewater, Maryland. Also surviving her are their spouses, Michele Wagner, Teresa Wagner, Kathleen Wagner and Mickey Merton.
Nora has 11 grandchildren: Joelle, Alena, Claire, John and Jennifer Wagner, Michael and Dominic Kindberg, Adam, Thomas, Maggie and William Merton.
Nora had many nieces and nephews as well as many grand nieces and nephews.
She is also survived by several siblings: John Dolan, Ann Jeffers, Martin Dolan, Bridget Thiel, Bernadette Collins, Cornelius Dolan, Gerald Dolan and J Kevin Dolan and their spouses.
Nora lived a full life and was beloved by many and this column cannot contain all their names. She had many friends at Silverado Memory Care in Bee Cave who treated her with the respect, dignity and love she deserved.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be held at Emmaus Catholic Parish in Lakeway, Texas on March 17, 2017 at 11:00 followed by a rousing reception in her honor there.
