Gunnery Sergeant Milton E. Kizer lost his battle with life today May 21, 2017.

Sergeant Milton E. Kizer born February 5, 1926 lived his life proudly as a member of the United States Marine Corps. He served his country in World War II, The Korean War, and The War in Vietnam. He retired after 27 years of faithful service.

Milton was happily married to his wife Dorothy for 68 years. he was also a loving father to his three sons Larry, Milton Jr., and Monty.

Milton was preceded in death by his parents Roy and Viola Kizer. Three brothers: Emil Kizer, Joe Kizer, and R. D. Kizer.

Milton leaves behind three brothers: Edwin Kizer, Ray Kizer, Gib Kizer, and one sister Susie Gibson. His son Larry and his wife Lillie and two daughters: Sherry Caldaron and Trina Linder. His son Milton Jr. and his fiancée Shirley. His son Monty and his two daughters: Kaylyn Kizer Lewis and Taylor Kizer. Also many beloved great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 am on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 followed by funeral services at 11:00 a.m. at Lakeway Church, 2203 Lakeway Blvd. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 31st at Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville.

After a long life of service to his country, love for his family and friends, Sergeant Milton E. Kizer is going to his Heavenly Home a Husband, a Father, and a United States Marine.
