Margie Cearley, 81, died June 28, 2017 in Kyle, TX with her family by her side.

Margie was born on October 1st, 1935, in Austin, Texas to William and Evelyn Johnson. She and her husband Ralph Cearley shared a wonderful life together for over 63 years. In addition to her husband Ralph, she is survived by her children Kirk Cearley and wife Rebecca of Leander, TX; Cass Cearley and wife Marjorie of Dripping Springs, TX; her grandson Chris Cearley and wife Jamé of Kyle, TX; her great-grandchildren Tyler and Taylor Glasgow of Kyle, TX. She has 3 surviving siblings Patsy Bittick of Austin, TX; Glen Johnson and wife Roxanne of Austin, TX; Jeanine Alleman and husband Jordan Tuttle of McMahan, TX. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Margie dearly loved her dogs, Bella, Marley, Chico and Beau, and her cat Sam.

Margie was married to Ralph on June 18th in Austin, TX. The two traveled with Ralph's railroad job from El Paso to Louisiana. They loved to travel together later in life whether it be on a motorcycle, in a Corvette, or in the family RV. Margie also enjoyed riding horses on the ranch they own in McMahan, TX. She loved to listen to Ralph perform with his band and on occasion would grace the audience with her best rendition of Honky Tonk Angel. She loved her two sons and grandson with all she had and was very proud of the men they became, she will rest easier knowing the strength that the family will have together.

Margie was a proud member of the Eastern Stars with her membership beginning in the 1970's. During her membership she was a marshal and a chaplain, she also completed 4 of the 5 points of the star. She enjoyed all the friends that she was able to serve with.

Margie was a bookkeeper for HEB for 22 years, she received many praises and awards before she retired.

Margie and Ralph were very active members of their church McMahan Baptist Church in McMahan, TX where Ralph is a deacon. Margie was also a member of the women's club in McMahan, where she served as the secretary.

Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 South Congress.

Interment will follow at Live Oak Cemetery, Manchaca, Texas.
