Obituary

Jack Ervin Brown, beloved family member and friend was born on December 10,1934 and passed away on August 25th,2018. He was 83 years old.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Misty Walker, sister Janie Wilkerson, and brother Donald Brown.

He is survived by sons Royce Brown and Jack Raymond Brown, Sisters; Allene Cary and Beverly Andrews, Brothers; Fred Brown and Ray Brown. Sister-n-laws; Wanda Brown, Erika Brown and Stella Brown; Several Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren, and many Nieces and Nephews.

Jack graduated from Meadow High School, Meadow, Tx in 1953. He resided in many Texas towns and later moved to California then to Eugene, Oregon, then back to Texas.

While he had polio as a child he never let it hold him back. He always wanted to be the hardest working person there.

He loved fast cars and loved to hot rod.
He loved to sit in front of the nickel slot machine for hours.
His favorite past time was playing Bingo where he made a lot of friends.
His favorite TV shows were Walker Texas Ranger and old westerns.
His favorite songs were Itty Bitty by Alan Jackson, Sixteen Tons by Tennessee Ernie Ford, and anything by Hank Williams.

He traveled across America many times. He also made many friends by sitting and visiting in coffee shops. He really loved talking to people. Every person that ever met him liked him. When anyone thought of Jack Brown they smiled. He loved life and always managed to have a good time wherever he was.

He will be dearly missed by all his family and friends.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 8th at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 1200 South Bagdad Rd in Leander.
