Eloise Koehler (Almogabar) was born in Houston on January 5, 1946 to Delores (Sanchez) and Reverend Virgilio Almogabar Sr. She went home to be with the Lord on March 9, 2017.
Her family moved to Austin in 1961. She graduated from Travis High School in Austin and attended the University of Texas. She was an employee at the Internal Revenue Service and was previously employed as a clerk at the U. S. Postal Service.
She is preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Jessica Koehler; sister, Vivian Clawson.
Eloise is survived by her husband, Avery Koehler; two daughters, Heidi Koehler of Arlington and Natalie Koehler of Cedar Creek; son, Cameron Koehler of Cedar Creek; three brothers, Virgil Almogabar Jr., Richard Almogarbar, Joe Almogarbar; sisters, Sara Hernandez, Ruth Polston, Esther Ray and Judy Delaney.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Monday, March 13, 2017 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 South Congress Avenue.
Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
