Obituary for Aurora Vixen DuHadway

August 15, 2015 - July 7, 2017
Bee Cave, Texas | Age 1

Aurora Vixen DuHadway is beautiful.

On August 15, 2015 her mother, DesireƩ, brought Aurora to us. She came pink and healthy and trailing clouds of glory. Her father, Charles, and brothers, Evan and Asher, had been eagerly awaiting her. Her grandmothers, Linda DuHadway and Marilyn Caster, witnessed her arrival. She was welcomed by a network of friends and family deep and wide.

Aurora Vixen taught us love and joy. Her sweet laugh, bouncing blond curls and ready smile brought happiness wherever she went. Aurora brought people together. With a word and a touch she softened hearts. With her passing she healed rifts in her extended family. Her sweet spirit teaches us to value family and God above all else.

Aurora's spirit left her body on July 6th and her little body was released on July 7th. As when she arrived her parents, brothers and grandmothers witnessed her departure. She was met on the other side of the veil by her grandfather, Robert Fox, who left to prepare the way for her one year ago. She will be buried at his side at the Haynie Flat cemetery in Spicewood.

We have faith the twin miracles of Christ's resurrection and atonement will reunite us with our baby girl and we eagerly await the chance to hold her in our arms again. Until then may her spirit continue to soften our hearts and raise our gaze. Every morning's dawn, every twinkling star will bring her memories alive again.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. with services beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 12th at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 12001 Bee Cave. A reception will follow. Graveside services will be held at 8:00 p.m. at Haynie Flat Cemetery in Spicewood.
