Condolence & Memory Journal

I was so sad to hear this - Brent and Roseanne were the most welcoming people to us when we moved and started our family in the neighborhood 21 years ago. They reached out, engaged us and always had time for a kind word. I miss seeing him walking in the neighborhood or up at the gym or park. His generosity, openness, humor and encouragement made us feel at home. Our prayers and love to Roseanne and his family.

Brent was a true gentleman and scholar. I had the pleasure of working with Brent at Crossroads Systems 20 years ago -- and again as a Partner while he was at Datalink.

While a serious businessman, Brent's approach and demeanor were always positive, coaching, encouraging -- with a great sense of humor.

He was also a really good friend who always made himself available to meet for coffee to talk about this business and personal. He was also a devoted and proud husband -- from the day I met him, his wife Roseanne was ever-present by his side and in his stories and anecdotes.

I deeply regret that I have not seen Brent as much in recent years, and my heart goes out to Roseanne, Carrie and the entire Palin family.

Brent was a kind, smart and excellent leader. I had the good fortune to meet and work for him at the beginning of my career. He was a top notch mentor and friend. He will be missed. My prayers go out to Roseanne, Carrie and Brent's family.

I worked with Brent at Seagate Technologies. Although he was my superior, he treated everyone with respect and as an equal. I learned so much working with him and always admired him. Brent was a fine person. My prayers go out to his family.

I had the distinct honor of working with Brent during his tenure at Datalink. He was one of those people that was a joy to work with. He was smart, witty, and a man of integrity. My heart goes out to you and your family. God bless!

I was very sad to hear of Brent's passing. I have fine memories of Brent during my working career. He was a mentor to me and someone I looked up too. He was one of the best managers I ever had.
