Clarence Riley III, age 73 of Austin passed away on Friday, March 1, 2019. He was born on Friday, January 18, 1946 to Clarence Odis Douglas Riley Jr. and Lorene Harrold in Austin, Texas. He attended Kealing Middle School and Johnston High School. Clarence was employed with the City of Austin, but the bulk of his employment was at Capital Metro (April 1988 – May 2012) and he retired in 2012. Loved animals, especially dogs, fishing, gardening, watching football and boxing.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Bobby, Lee Louis; sisters, Essie and Doris.

Clarence is survived by his wife, Nancy Menchaca Riley; daughter, Alicia Riley and fiancé David; sons, Clarence Jones, Charles Serna, Clarence Riley IV and girlfriend, Sarah, Martin Riley; siblings, Gail, J.D., Barbara, Clara (his twin sister), Sharon, Karen, Robert, Linda; and a host of extended family members; nieces; nephews and friends.

Honoring Clarence and serving as Pallbearers will be Clarence Riley IV, Martin Riley, Chris Riley, Tracy Riley, Donny Riley, Jessie Robertson Jr., Kenneth Tuberville and William Featherson.

Visitation 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Friday, March 8, 2019 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home 2620 South Congress Avenue.

Funeral Service 11:00 am, Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Emmanuel United Methodist Church, 200 Brushy Street, Austin, Texas 78702.

Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.

I am so sorry for your loss our loving God promises to give you the strength to cope with the pain of your loss. He also promises to hold your hand every step of the way. Please take comfort that he does care at Isaiah 63:9 and Jeremiah 29:11,12.
