Condolence & Memory Journal

Janet and Blake created a legacy of love and service. Memories of Janet will always include her beautiful smile, her infectious laugh, her hugs, and her affirmations of love. She will be missed by so many of us. I send wishes for comfort to Blake, Cayti, Brady, Linzy and her mother, Marla. Beautiful people.

Blake & kids, I am so sorry to hear about Janet's passing. I was a childhood friend of hers. She and her family lived next door to me in a little town called Roganville in Jasper County. I knew her from the age of 5. She was such a dear friend to me. I hate we lost touch. This may not be the time, but I have a few pictures of Janet when she was little that I would gladly send to you. Since their family home burned down years ago, I don't know if Janet had any pictures from her childhood. I'd also like to send a letter with some of my memories of Janet. Please email me at if you are interested. It's a blessing to know that you all know Christ. He will bring you through this difficult time. Again, I'm so sorry. I loved her. Alan Jobe

Dear Blake, Cayti, Linzy, & Brady: We share your sorrow over the loss of Janet, your loving wife and mother. We agonize over the loss of Janet in the prime of her life, taken way before her time. Why is it so? Why does it happen? We don't know and we won't know until we all meet again in the hereafter. Until that time, please accept our condolences for your loss. With much love, Barbara & Charlie

We never saw Janet without a smile on her face, an uplifting word, a glow from the inner faith that sustained her in good times and bad. From the minute we heard about her illness, we prayed for Janet, Blake, Cayti, Lindsey, and Brady. Our precious, almighty God heard our prayers. The memory of her will be with us forever. We loved her dearly and she will be greatly missed in our family. Our prayers will continue for Maria and all the family. However, we rejoice that Janet is home with the Lord

To the family of my dear cousin Janet. We are praying for you all at this loss of such a dear person. My memory of Janet years ago when we were young, was what a lovely person. She was soft spoken and stuck close to aunt Marla. Losing family members myself is not easy and some days are harder than others. God Bless you all. Billy John Dalton and wife Gaye Dalton. Ps in sure my brother terry welcomed her with open arms. Amen

Marla and family, I didn't have the privilege of knowing Janet personally. But she seemed like an extraordinary lady. My heart aches for you. Prayer will continue to go up for her family.

How do I say goodbye? It certainly won't be easy. None of this has been easy, most of all for you. We will grieve you, but we will be glad knowing you are pain free and knowing we will one day see you again. It doesn't help us understand why you were taken from us so soon, but just knowing that in the end we will see you again will help. I love you my darlin' and I don't think I'll say goodbye...I'll just say, see you later.

Janet was a true woman of God. I'll never forget and will always be grateful for her prayers and concerns for our 1.5lb grandson when he was born. He was not expected to live
But she would have none of that. You will truly be missed.
