Condolence & Memory Journal

Oh, my heart hurts. I just now saw this terrible news. I am just a patient of Dr. Gordy. I was with him for more years than I can even remember. I cried when he retired I missed him so much. He saved my life through the '80s & '90s and I truly loved this man. I am 71 years old now and oh there will never be doctors like him again. I know you are looking down and are resting in well-deserved peace, my friend.

From our younger high school days in the Life Saving Course, Square Dancing Lessons and attending school together, we have appreciated our continuing friendship with Tracy over the years. He was able to diagnose seizure difficulties and provide correct medication just learned from one of his meetings. I was forever grateful, though we waded through adjustments, he was able to allow me an almost normal lifestyle. He was always a listener and applied his vast knowledge in short order. Our city was blessed to have him practice here.

Dear Nancy and children, my heart is heavy to hear of Tracy's passing. He was an amazing man, so full of integrity, kindness and an interest to keep expanding his interests and horizons. He accomplished alot in life. My Dad loved him, as did our family. He and Dad started their private practices together, and remained friends until Dad's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time of loss and healing. . Most Sincerely, Pamela Nemir

Tracy was a wonderful gentleman, colleague and friend. We spent a lot of time working together in Qatar over several years. I remember our walks on Doha corniche, his friendship, sage advice, Texas courtliness,.... and the twinkle in his eye when he found something amusing but it was not "politic" to laugh outright. Will miss you Tracy.

So sad to hear this news as we just spoke right before they returned to Austin. A true gentleman and the finest doctor a person could wish to have. He was the best, and his expertise, and compassion for people will be sorely missed. God Bless to all the family, with deepest condolences.

To my friend and colleague, together we established several "Firsts" including Austin's first sleep lab and Austin Neuro Diagnostics which included Austin's first CT scanner and Neuro Chemistry Lab. You were the best. The rest is history. RIP Doug Hudson
