Howard was one of the best examples of a Father, dad, friend and a good person, he not only treated those he met with respect, love and kindness no matter who you were in life. His smile tells it all, I will always remember his advice and stories, god bless , Doug Wilson

Howard was a good friend and golfing buddy to many of us in San Marcos. He would drive down from Austin to play golf and tell stories with us, and he had a few stories. He had such a great attitude, always upbeat and positive, and he was quite a jokester. He could dish it out just as well as he could take the kidding. In his later years, he had a problem with locking his keys in his car after he got his golf clubs out.
We kidded him by telling him he was the only guy we knew who had a locksmith on retainer.
RIP old friend, we will miss you but we will continue to remember you with Howard Jenkins stories on the golf course.

My condolences to the family. As a friend of Becky, I heard a lot of stories about her dad and mother. The stories she shared were about a lady who loved her father dearly, and I felt like I knew him personally. He had a successful professional life, but more importantly he was a great father, grandfather and great grandfather. My thoughts are with his entire family.
