Beautiful Angel

Posted by Terri Kahla - Austin, TX - Friend   February 10, 2019

I never had the honor of meeting this sweet Angel, but indeed God knew what he was doing when he placed her with you. What takes most people years to aquire, Abbey did in 11. The amount of friends she made, all the love that she could ever want and ever need makes it clear on what a true blessing from God that she was then and still is now. While she was a blessing givin to you, she also was blessed to have such a wonderful family appointed to love and take care of her! No, i never knew her but can honestly say i adore her already. Gods peace and well wishes from my heart i pray for all of her family and many friends. And thank you for being that true blessing for Abbey..i truly believe she knew.

Abbey will never be forgotten by our Palliative Medicine team here at Dell Childrens. She taught all of us so much-- mostly through her beautiful little grin while putting up with the incessant poking and prodding! She truly captured all of our hearts. It has been a great honor to participate in a small way in the very beautiful journey that was Abbey's life, and to walk alongside her amazing parents who so lovingly carried her through it. Melissa and Travis, I send prayers of sympathy and comfort as you grieve her loss and celebrate her life.
