Tribute & Message From The Family

Our beloved Guadalupe "Tia Lupe" Sedillo, age 55, of Austin entered into eternal rest with the Lord on Tuesday, November 6, 2018.

She was preceded in death by her parents Louis Espinoza Sedillo and Oralia Gonzales Sedillo.

She is survived by her beloved daughter, Amanda Nicole Sedillo; her 11 siblings; John Sedillo and wife Hundy, Dolores Ramon, Helen Ramon, Mary Ann Sedillo, Alesia Gamboa and husband Mario, Tina Sedillo and companion Mike, Frances Sedillo, Virginia Coy and husband Rene, Stephen Sedillo and wife Cindy, Mary Jane Chacon and husband Michael, Eddie Sedillo; and Lupe's beloved companion of 13 years, Victor Villegas. She is also survived by 27 nieces and nephews, 35 great nieces and nephews and 1 great-great niece.

Lupe left her job at a daycare to continue to do what she loved best, watching and caring for her nieces and nephews (her babies), this would be her job for the next 30 years. And although she cared for many, her life was devoted to her daughter Amanda, which is why she never gave up, even after her cardiac arrest in 2014. Her life was so much more than just being in a wheelchair and she amazed us as to how strong-willed and independent she was. Lupe's strength and love allowed her to care for Amanda and her "babies" up until her last breath. Tia Lupe will be greatly missed.

Honoring her as pallbearers will be Stephen Sedillo, Jorge Aquino, Andy Ramon, Jeremy Acosta, Anthony Sedillo and Kevin Ramon.

Serving as Honorary pallbearers are Daniel Ramon, Dominick Ramon, Joseph Hidalgo, Jonathan Ramon, Jr., Lance Ramon, Mateo Acosta, Joel Sedillo, Isaiah Ramon and Damian Ramon-Lowe, all which had an extra place in her heart.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm, November 9th, with Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 South Congress Ave. Austin, Texas 78704.

Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, November 10th at 1:00 pm at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

Interment will follow at Hornsby Bend Cemetery.

Our deepest gratitude to Lupe for keeping the family together, being so welcoming and opening up her home to us, giving us a place to gather on Sundays or any other day.

We didn't know that morning that God was going to call you home. In life we loved you dearly and we still do the same. It broke hearts to lose you, you leave us amazing memories. We cant see you but you will always be in our hearts forever. The family chain is broken and nothing seems the same but we have FAITH that God will call on us one day and the chain will LINK again.
Love you
