Condolence & Memory Journal

Mac was a very gentle, dependable and encouraging person and very precise especially when he was teaching his dance steps. I learned my beginning and advanced west coast swing dance from him 4 years ago and it was a real pleasure to learn from him. He was very talented in dancing and creating and fixing things and loved both. It is very sad that he had to leave us so soon, and he will be missed a lot especially when dancing. The nice memories and happy times will be with us. May his kind soul rest in peace.

Mac was loved by so many through his teaching and dedication to dance. There were many friends at the visitation talking about how much he had helped them and how patient he was with us as we were learning.
He was not only a great dancer and instructor but as I got to know him more was a caring and brilliant man. He will be greatly missed and dancing in our hearts forever!

Mac and I were dance partners for 4 years, before I moved away from Austin. We also co-taught West Coast Swing classes at Whip Club. He was a wonderful, kind and patient man. I have very good memories of this sweet person. He will be greatly missed by the dance community in Austin. May he rest in peace, in God's loving arms. Mary Wingo, Leander, Texas

I'm so grateful to have known Mac. He was a joy and blessing to all. I was one of the many beginning students that Mac helped out. Mac always had a kind and helpful word and was always willing to give extra encouragement. I will miss him very much.
