Dear Amy, Laura and Josh. It was with such a heavy heart that I read about your Mom. I have such fond memories of our fun times together, cooking for your Bar Mitzveh, Josh, plus my visits to Corpus and then times in Austin. Even though I haven't lived in Austin for a long time, memories remain and fill lovely spaces in my heart. I send you my love and prayers.

In memory of a former neighbor many years ago and a representative and leader of our community serving on the School Board for CCISD.

Susan, you were an inspiration as a student--beautiful, brilliant and wickedly funny. You epitomized the strong Texan woman! And, after graduation from Mills, you continued to combine your talents for the welfare of children. My profound sympathy goes to Don, Josh, Laura and Amy. Your love and support throughout her battle provided the support that helped keep her the strong Texas woman I admired and laughed with at Mills.
