Barbara, Holly, Julie and grandsons my sincere condolences on Rex's passing. Though I never met any of you in person, I know you a little anyway; your names and faces come readily to mind from the many hours Rex shared his joy and pride in you all.
"Barbara, Holly, Julie and grandsons my sincere condolences on Rex's passing.
Though I never met any of you in person, I know you a little anyway; your names and faces come readily to mind from the many hours Rex shared his joy and pride in you all. My wife and I had the pleasure of visiting Rex at Texanadu. I enjoyed his frequent phone calls; they always lit up my day. I will miss him tremendously!
He was a wonderful man, as your description well captures, and he became a dear friend as we pored over our family's Pennsilfaanisch Deitsch heritage, about which he was very knowledgeable."
