"Glenn, sorry we could not get to the reception, but wanted you to know you are in our prayers. Your children did a wonderful and inspiring job reading the lessons.
Terry tells me one of the stories of you going to an A&M event during a serious sporting event in your youth, in which the team was losing. Then, suddenly your dad got you to the game before all was lost. You were the hero and the team won!
Hope you can smile as you reflect on the special moments you had with your parents.

"There aren't many like Earl. He left a huge legacy in so many areas, especially personal integrity and relationships. Diane I have been limited in going anywhere after an elective orthopedic procedure, but I will always feel a smile when I recall Earl. Lou Cannatti"

"So saddened to hear of dr grants passing. He was a very special man to my father & our entire family. Just learned of his passing today or would have been at the service. Please know how dear dr grant was thought of in our family & how much we appreciated his visits to my dad when he was ill. They had a close bond & I rejoice knowing that they are talking about good times together now in heaven. Our thoughts & prayers are with your family. God bless. Rita & Sandy Senter"
"Sympathy and condolence to the Grant family. Earl was a great friend to Bob and me and my family - a true and caring friend during Bob's illness, as well as a wise physician who gave me great counsel. Kate I considered one of my best friends and neighbors during our time on Sierra Dr. God bless all of you as you go through this great loss - Rest in Peace, Dear and Faithful Servant, Wanda Burnette & family"

"Condolences to the Grant family on the loss of a fine physician, and humanitarian. Dr. Grant was most welcoming to me upon my entry into the Austin medical market at St. David's in 1977. He was a gentleman and scholar and will be missed. Dr. Wayne Ingram"

"Earl was at Parkland in Dr Jenkins Anesthesiology Program when I was there. I finished in 1966 and practiced in Dallas until moving to Austin in 1969 where we both practiced. Ralph Simon,Jim Lee,Smitty Asbill,Jackie Hunt ,Harriet Livingston were some of our fellow residents. We did many cases for the late Dr Red Duke. We were all there when President Kennedy was assassinated ."
