My sincere sympathy is extended to the family of Dorothy Wallace. Mrs. Wallace was my landlady at 4503 Elwood for 15 years before I moved to Washington, DC to work at the Interstate Commerce Commission. Moving away from my wonderful neighbors and home was a very difficult, yet rewarding challenge.

My memorable time in the Delwood II home was made possible by Dorothy's kind, generous and effective oversight to the home I loved for so many years, a home which was

I had the opportunity to meet Dorothy last year after my mom moved to Trinity Towers. They lived on the same floor. Dorothy always expessed her appreciation for the holiday decorations I did on the 19th floor foyer.

Our sympathies are with her family. May her memory forever be a blessing.

Mothers are very special people, and I know through Al and Janet's stories that Dorothy was a very speical mom. My heart goes out to her family and friends who have had the blessing of sharing a life iwth Dorothy.

May you find comfort in the memories and love shared with a very special mother and friend.

My Aunt Dorothy always wanted to take care of Travis and I when we moved to Austin in 1974. She loved to watch the Longhorns play and it was a thrill when we went to the ballgames to see Travis play. I will always remember the great meals she would prepare for us, making everyone's favorite dish. She was a hard worker and a very loving Aunt and Trav and I will miss her but she will always be remembered.

Mimi,
I will miss my Mimi dearly. She taught me so many things that I will carry with me always, such as hard work, honesty, good posture(of course), tap dancing(she always said she was the one that gave me my start in dance), family devotion and my love of Christmas(and Christmas decorations!), just to name a few. Having two grandmothers that practically raised me it is sad that both of them are no longer with me. Miss you Mimi!

Dorothy was a kind, generous aunt whom I dearly loved. I'll miss her greatly! But she will live always in our hearts because of the happy memories we have of her.
