Memories & Candles
Dear Terri, Vicki, Rick and families,
The Sury family is so sorry for the loss of your Mother. We all have wonderful memories of you and your parents in Lake Jackson. I never hear Nutcracker music without thinking of your Mom. She was a fine lady.
Be happy as you move forward. Your parents want that for you.

I am truly saddened to hear about the loss of Mrs. Witcher. I spent the majority of my pre-teen/teenage years in her dance studio. She gave me the gift of dance, which I still have a deep appreciation for. She had a huge impact on my life.

Betsye,
You & Les embraced my family into your hearts and loved them all as one of your own.
For that I thank you and love you even more.

Greg & I have- been so fortunate to have known Les and Betyse through other family members in Texas-her nephew is married to our daughter. We thoroughly enjoyed their visits to Juneau and Pelican and all the wonderful memories of boating and eating crab and laughing ever so much! We have included Les in this as he and Betsye are now reunited and it is hard to think of one with out the other. They were each wonderful and truly

I have wonderful memories of Betsye. She was not just a sister-in-law but a friend. Loved her brother dearly, as he loved her. CarolChWk2

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. She has touch more lives than anyone will ever know. Growing up at the dance studio I always felt confident and loved. Betsye taught me the love of dance and that is something I will carry on for the rest of my life. I have thought of her many times since they left Lake Jackson but never could find out how she was. I would have liked to

Through the oil patch we met the Richard Smith family many, many years ago. We were part of the IK. B.Snider family, and had many fun experiences with them in South Texas. Over the years we have kept up with Betsye through my sister, Margaret Kahn of Austin, and all the rest of the Alice Bunch who share so many happy memories in the Austin area. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time, and

Betsye was a wonderful lady and was kind to everyone she ever met. I enjoyed a couple of trips to Mexico with her and Les, even if our van broke down on the way to Villa Hermosa- it just made the memory more enjoyable. I will look forward to seeing you again in heaven.
My heartfelt condolences are extended to Rick, Terri and Vicki and their families. You were very fortunate to have Betsye as your mother.

I worked with Betsye at the Lakeway Company for several years. We also saw
each other when she moved to her accounting job with Dave Pelz at the Lakeway Plaza where I was property manager. She was always a pleasure to visit with and
we loved re-living old times at the World of Tennis. She will be missed.
