Memories & Candles
Todd and the Durkee Family:
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this sad time. I was not fortunate enough to have met Mr. Durkee, but reading through the loving comments in this memory book, I feel I know more of what a wonderful man Mr. Durkee was and what an impact he and Mrs. Durkee have had on so many friends and family. Todd, Mark & Robert, you must know what joy and pride you

To Mrs. Durkee and your dear family: I was deeply saddened to hear of Mr. Durkee's death. Having lost Jim in Feb. 2010, I understand the depth of your sorrow. I will keep you and your family in my prayers, that you may be blessed with God's strength and peace. May He bless you always, Audrey Young

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Durkee family in this time.
We are sure that you are celebrating the great and bountiful life that your dad lived as a daily adventure. I haven't seen your dad in person since 1974, but I can still see his smile and regularly smile in memory of the fine times we spent together with the Durkee clan in Lafayette.
Peace be with you all!

Dear Jean, We are so sorry to hear of Bob's passing. We have fond memories of our time visiting you in Schulenburg and watching the catfish frenzy, as well as the numerous AHHS reunions. I would have preferred to share my expressions of care and concern in person, but I did not even find out about your loss until today since Betty is my computer person and she is in the hospital, but soon to be released. Again, you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

Jeanne,
I was saddened to learn of Bob's death. Immediately my thoughts went back years ago when many from Lafayette went skiing during Mardi Gras week. We were at Breckenridge and Bob and I were in the lift line together. We plopped our big selves into the chair which then sagged on the cable. However, the slack was taken up and Bob and I were ejected out of the chair and into the snow. Both of us were laughing so hard
