RichardA. Reinert, 80, passed away on October 7, 2011 at home with his loved ones by his side. He was born November 11, 1930 in Memphis, TN. Richard was a devout Christian, loving husband, devoted father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He served in the National Guard as a Master Sergeant for 15 years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Emma Schoedel Reinert; granddaughter, Shelby Criddle; his parents; two brothers; and one sister.
Richard is survived by a brother, John Reinert; his children: son, Steve Reinert and wife Sara, daughter, Diane Reinert Roberts and husband Jacky, daughter, Vivian Reinert Miller and husband Joe David, son, Paul Reinert and wife Beverly, daughter, Judy Reinert Farrar and husband David; 11 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 11th from 6-8pm at Weed-Corley-Fish, 3125 N. Lamar. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at St Louis Catholic Church, 7601 Burnet Rd, Austin, 78757. Burial will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
