Audrey Leah Reeder of Pasadena, California, passed away Wednesday, September 10, 2003. She was born May 20, 1960, in Jacksonville, Texas, to Peggy and Leon Black. Audrey graduated from Anderson High School in 1978 and attended the University of Texas. In high school she was a cheerleader, homecoming queen, and football sweetheart. At the University of Texas she was a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority. Audrey is survived by husband, Rodger Reeder and two children, Chantal and Gaston of Pasadena, California; parents, Peggy and Leon Black; sister, Natalie Hetherly and husband, Mike; brothers, Chuck Black and Jason Black and wife, Kelly all of Austin. The family will receive friends Saturday, September 13, 2003, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Hyde Park Baptist Church in Friendship Hall, 3901 Speedway, Austin, Texas. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, September 14, 2003, 2:00 p.m. at Hyde Park Baptist Church. The Black family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to the Frost Bank Education Trust Fund for Reeder Children c/o Law Office of Don Walden, 4408 Spicewood Springs Rd, Suite 304, Austin, TX 78759.
